Well WEEK TWO was blistering! Several teams have almost made it one-fifth of the way to Marrakesh, just a few kilometers shy of 500 kms to Milano. No matter where you are in the scheme of things, it's just great to be out there walking.

Best Team Score for Week Two:
1st Place - Yes Dears with 278.45 km
2nd Place - Heat Raiders with 222.81 km
3rd Place - Ljubljana Lightning with 211.48

Top Invididuals for Week Two:
1st Place - Bojan Brescanski of Sky Walkers with 97.47 km
2nd Place - Paul Schultz of Yes Dears with 81.20 km
3rd Place - Jules Kim of Ljubljana Lightning with 76.33

Top Teams overall (Week 1 + 2):
1st team - Heat Raiders with 474.91 km
2nd team - Yes Dears with 460.43

The Walkathlon Result, Week 1

From the Organizing Committee

For all you skieers, cross-country, snowboarders, hikers and general lovers of nature in the snow, we are starting up a little group or big to go to ski resorts around the area. The plan is to make a few daytrips, or weekends to ski resorts in striking distance of Ljubljana. We can all do whatever activities we like, then get together in the evenings for dinner and good cheer. Check the upcoming events & send us an email if you would like to sign-up for the ICS Ski Club.

The organizing committee has come up with some really interesting events up to April time-frame and we hope that if any of our members out there would like for us to organize something special, please send us an email with your ideas and or join the Organizing Committee. We like to keep things moving, interesting and fresh.

We're also in the planning stages of a bowling tournament set for March and a mixed-doubles tennis tournament, which is set for May . If anyone is interested in being a sponsor for the bowling/tennis tournament please contact the Event coordinator or send us an email. Any contribution is appreciated.
